Martin Receives Golden Keyboard Award

Congratulations to City County Health District's Angie Martin, recipient of the 2008 "Golden Keyboard Award" in recognition of Administrative Professionals Day. Each year, the Valley City Chamber of Commerce asks their members to submit letters explaining why the best adminstrative professional in Valley City works for them. Chamber President LouVay White and Executive VP Dean Ihla were joined by the Chamber Ambassadors to present the award to Angie this morning. The following letter of recommendation was submitted by City County Health District Director Theresa Will:

Angie Martin was hired to work at City County Health District as our Office Manager in April of 2004. Angie is able to multi-task as needed to keep the many current and upcoming projects at City County Health organized. She is an integral part in almost everything that is done through City County Health. Angie assists all 20 employees working at City County Health in keeping track with radio talk spots, articles for the Times Record, phone calls, etc. Angie is capable and willing to dive into any project regardless of the complexity and then always obtains an excellent result.

In addition to the excellent skills that she brings to our office, Angie is a very kind and caring individual who treats every client who enters City County Health District with respect and compassion, which is truly what public health is all about. Angie is the glue that holds City County Health District together!

Congratulations to Angie and all the other Adminstrative Professionals for a job well done!
